It's hard to believe that it has nearly been one year since starting at CEF®. As many of you reading this know, the past five years of responding to the call to honor my late mother's legacy through the sharing of Jesus Christ with others has been an adventure beyond my wildest imagination. In the last year, I have been incredibly blessed and grateful for the unprecedented support provided by CEF of Central Indiana, donors, and the local committee. This support has been the linchpin necessary for me to attend The Children’s Ministries Institute located in Missouri, for taking the courses needed to receive essential certifications towards this position God has called me, and for serving within the different ministries made available through the generosity of cheerful givers to CEF. As the one-year mark approaches, I am thrilled to announce my transition from an intern to a Ministry Coordinator. I could not be more thrilled to be working with CEF in sharing the Gospel throughout East Marion and Hancock County (including Mom's old Township, Warren Township!). To make this happen, I need your help to build a strong support team. CEF policy is to ask God and tell His people. We are prayerfully asking God toprovide $15,000 in new annual contributions for 2024. Every little bit helps, and no donation is too small. If we can reach $1250/month in new donations, we'll be able to meet our goal. If 25 new donors signed up to donate $50/month - we would meet our goal! Let's work together to make this happen. What might happen if each elementary-aged child throughout Central Indiana said “Yes!” to Jesus this year? Let us join hands and bring about a significant change. As ministry supporters, we have the power to work together under the direction of the Holy Spirit provides peace and love to our children's chaotic lives by sharing the truth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Your support through a financial partnership can make a real difference in our communities for generations to come. Thank you for prayerfully considering this opportunity. God Bless!

A "Good News" Story
The story of Paul and Silas in Acts 16 is a great example of how a simple faith in Christ can lead entire households to salvation. When Paul and Silas have the opportunity to escape from prison, an act that would have surely cost the jailer his life, they choose to instead stay and ultimately plead with the jailer to not take his own life. Being imprisoned for nothing more than preaching the Gospel of Christ, the jailer recognizes this great mercy and responds by asking “what must I do to be saved?” (Acts 16:30). Paul’s response simply to “believe in the Lord Jesus” and he would be saved, along with “his household.” This is such a powerful example of how God works through faithful brothers and sister’s simple acts of faith for the purpose of bringing entire families to a saving faith in Christ.
During my time with Child Evangelism Fellowship® of Indiana, Inc - Central Indiana Chapter, I've witnessed some exciting moments, but no moment may stick out more than hearing the testimony of a family impacted by the Good News of Christ out of Plainfield.
At CEF®, we believe that the Good News Club® is one way that God is reaching children with the Gospel today. Through this program, we're continuing to witness God's pattern of redeeming entire households through a childlike faith in Jesus Christ. Rachel recently shared a powerful testimony about her son Ryan, and how his simple, childlike faith was used by God for the good of the entire household. Before attending a Good News Club, Ryan wasn't hearing about Jesus at home, but, as Rachel puts it, “he was hearing about Him once a week for an hour and a half at school.” That “captivated him and he brought it home.” Praise God! Thanks to the Holy Spirit's work in Ryan's heart, he was able to bring his entire family to a believing faith in Jesus Christ. Rachel's testimony is just one of many amazing stories about how a "childlike faith" can bring entire households to salvation. MY CMI Experience Indiana was well represented at CMI from 10/2-10/20
Bye kids, bye babe; Love you!! (Shuts Front Door) Those words are never easy to say to your wife and kids as you’re walking out the door, but the words become especially difficult when you know you’re leaving for three weeks of training. Despite the difficulty, I waved farewell, loaded up my 3 suitcases, and by God’s grace safely made the 4 hour and 25 minute drive to beautiful Warrenton, MO where the CEF International Headquarters are located for three weeks of training, prayer groups, hymns, and discipleship! While it’s been a lot of hard work, what I’ve felt so thankful for over these few weeks has been the relationships formed. We have a group of five Indiana staffers at CMI (Children’s Ministries Institute®) for these three weeks (Praise God!), and I’m excited to see how God uses these relationships to connect more Hoosier children to Jesus Christ! While it’s never easy to be away from home for such a lengthy time, I have felt nothing but gratitude to be surrounded by such passionate disciples and I could not be more thankful for the ways in which God continues to provide new opportunities to grow in the grace and in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

#MyCEFJourney #MinistryUpdates Summer 2023 #ReachingEveryChild I’m excited to share some updates about our ministry over the summer. This summer has been one of the most challenging and rewarding summers of my entire life. On May 8th, I began my training at CEF and since then, I have had the joy of learning from student missionaries and CEF leadership, alike. As we move into the fall and begin focusing on Good News Club season, below is a little update on #MyCEFJourney.
CYIA #MyCEFJourney began almost immediately by joining more than 50 teens for the annual Christian Youth In Action (CYIA) training at Indiana Wesleyan University. How many times have you seen teenagers convey a clear, concise Gospel message straight from Scripture in 12 minutes? On campus at CYIA, you see this happening everywhere. The students are trained up to teach the Gospel and to counsel the children who respond to the Gospel message by trusting in Jesus. These students sacrifice their summer for the purpose of connecting the children in their communities to Christ! Attending CYIA has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my entire life.
5-Day Club After CYIA, we took the show on the road! #MyCEFJourney went back to our local CEF of Central Indiana chapter and our incredible student missionaries went to local daycares, neighborhoods, and outreach centers to teach the Gospel! In total, the CYIA team taught 9 different 5-day clubs (That’s like having 9 different VBS’s in ONE summer!!!!) and reached over 230 children with the Gospel, including 17 who decided to place their faith in Jesus Christ! Praise God!!!

July 2023
I am the new Ministry Coordinator for the eastside of Central Indiana with Child Evangelism Fellowship® of Indiana, Inc - Central Indiana Chapter. Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF®) is an international ministry reaching children in almost every country in the world. This is an incredible honor and responsibility that I take seriously.
My mother was an incredible faith example for me and many others. As you may know, it was her passing that led to the call on my life to ministry. I am grateful to be called to serve in the same community where she taught for nearly three decades. I am incredibly humbled to have been called me to reach the youth within many of the same schools where mom once served so faithfully as a teacher in Warren Township. God is so, so good; Romans 8:28.
Since joining CEF, I have seen firsthand the incredible impact of Good News Club® in a public elementary school, 5-Day Club® at a daycare and in people's homes, and Christian Youth In Action® (CYIA™) training at Indiana Wesleyan University. It is amazing to watch the positive influence this organization has on the children in our local communities.
As I continue to follow God's guidance in this exciting new role, would you prayerfully consider how God may lead you to support this ministry? Your support, whether through volunteering, connecting us with your local church leaders or friends, giving of your finances, or by the most important act of keeping this ministry in your daily prayers, will be invaluable in our efforts to bring the Good News of Jesus Christ to the children of Marion and Hancock counties. Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 19:14)
