Volunteer Application & Screening Instructions
VOLUNTEER APPLICATION STEPS
All new minor volunteers are required to complete a volunteer application process which includes reference checks in accordance with the Child Protection Policy of Child Evangelism Fellowship Inc.
There are four parts to the volunteer approval process. All four steps are required to be completed before you can serve in a CEF ministry. Here are the four parts:
A. Volunteer application
Once you've completed the volunteer application, we will complete reference checks for at least 2 of your references.
B. Interview and Photo ID Check
This will be completed by your Team Leader, for Good News Club volunteers.
C. Photo Release Form
This will be completed with your Team Leader for Good News Club volunteers.
D. Complete Quick Start Training
(only Good News Club volunteers and teachers of party clubs). Your Team Leader will provide instructions.
* For Good News Club volunteers, once all of these parts are completed and you are approved, you will be issued a Good News Club (GNC) name tag, from our office, with the current year, to indicate you have completed the necessary screening. It is essential that you wear this name tag when you serve at a GNC.

c. You may put a zero in the driver’s license field and select "Indiana" in the state dropdown box.
d. If you receive a message related to being under the age of 18, click OK, as long as you have
your parent’s approval to volunteer with CEF®.
